Give a Little, Get a lot!

Radio Boise’s Fall Radiothon: October 2nd-15th

To many, our radio station is a mysterious entity, beaming invisible melodies across the air. But Radio Boise is so much more than that.

  • We are powered by people who volunteer their time to bring the widest variety of programming to the Treasure Valley and beyond.
  • Every week, our loyal listeners can win tickets to the hottest shows—concerts, comedy, or special events—even ones you might not have thought to attend! Which, along with our daily live calendar, brings awareness to what’s happening out there. We proudly support and attend community events like Pridefest, Open Streets, and the Treefort Music Festival.
  • We connect listeners to nonprofit organizations through public service announcements, interviews with nonprofit leaders, collaborate on supply drives, and help raise awareness about vital community resources. Our “Open Station” each First Thursday helps nonprofits interact with folks directly!
  • We Interact with local high schools and other educational institutions, helping young people learn how to use their voices for the purposes of good.

You might say that goes beyond what a typical radio station does, and we agree. At Radio Boise, being an essential part of the community is central to our mission. We’re the glue—or one of the key elements—that helps turn a population into a community.

That’s where you come in! From October 2 to October 15, KRBX will host its Fall Radiothon. For two weeks, we’ll bring you fun programming, loads of special guests, exciting prizes, and yes—a bit of nuttiness—all while seeking support from our listeners.

“Give a little, get a lot!” We’re asking you to give what you can—whether it’s $5 a month or $500—and encourage your friends who love our station to do the same. As we expand our mission, we want our crew of supporters to grow with the valley. Will you join our growing community? We hope so! Click the link to donate (early is okay!), and let us know you’re out there. We’ll hear from you during the ‘thon!
