About Jaime Nebeker, HomeGrown Theatre Managing Director:
http://www.hgtboise.org/
Jaime Nebeker is a Boise artist. As an actor, puppeteer, puppet maker, choreographer and teaching artist, she feels fortunate to work in this rapidly growing theatre community that she loves. She enjoys the highly theatrical: working with puppets, masks and movement, believing that abstracting reality can draw us closer to the truth. But Jaime also loves a good bit and a pratfall or two for some meaningless entertainment believing that life’s too short not to have fun. Some highlight roles have included Julius Caesar, Quincy/Lisa in Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play, Charlie in Maggie Lumiere and the Ghost Train and Kate in Airheart.
About Chad Ethan Shohet, HomeGrown Theatre Artistic Director:
http://www.hgtboise.org/
Chad Ethan Shohet is an explorer of poking the theatrical bear. Primarily a director, writer, actor and puppeteer – but never in that order – he likes to explore the chasm of the unknown, unexplainable cosmic anxieties that creep around the subconscious. Mostly, he is a dreamer who has terrible nightmares. Directing credits include She Kills Monsters, Mr. Burns; a Post-Electric Play, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Living Dead in Denmark (HGT) and Don Juan in Chicago (BSU). His written plays include the Ragnarok! cycle, Camp Ghoul, Every Man (Shift For All the Rest) (with Dakotah Brown), You’re A Good Dude Daggy Nichols (with Dakotah Brown) and The Jabberwocky (with Dakotah Brown and Noah Moody). Puppet plays include The Man of Felt Flesh, an Accident; The Harvest, The Infinitarium of Everything, Beyond the Farm, A Bedtime Story, The Woodwitches, The Big Rip, Special, For Old Times, Floating Thru Space and Alligator. Chad was a 2018 Participant Artist and a 2019 Resident Company Member at the National Puppetry Conference at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center.
