Treefort 2019!

Radio Boise prides itself on the variety of music that we bring to the airwaves every single day – embodying the journey of discovery.

Starting Wednesday, March 20, 2019, we’ve invited bands from around the world playing at Treefort Music Festival to perform live on the air – broadcast direct to listeners.

You’re invited to come to the station and listen to live in-studios as well as check us out at Radioland, our performance area, on 11th & Grove St (on the way to the Treefort Main Stage).

An offshoot of our winter in-studio performance series that features artists, writers and comedians from the Treasure Valley performing and talking about their craft.

3:30 – 5:30 PM Local Hip-Hop Showcase
Live, local Hip-Hop sets from Dedicated Servers, Ryan Camargo, D-Rock, Skilly Waves & SkyWaalka and DJ Spin Master Mugen. Hosted DJ Winkle and Andy O of Krush Korner.

1:00 – 2:00 PM Treefort Annual Dance Battle
A freestyle dance battle open to anyone with the moves who wants to sign up. Hosted by CoreVette Dance and Earthlings Entertainment.

2:30 – 3:30 PM Couch Surfer Series w/ Erin Rose Belair and Migration Theory
Author Erin Rose Belair will open up with a fiction reading, followed by a live art performance and discussion from Migration Theory (artists Tracy Sunderland and Sarah Gardner plus poet CL Young). This experience will explore love, loss, letting go (or trying to).
