Public Affairs Program Changes

Fall Scene

As a result of both keeping our ears to the ground and lots of listener feedback, we’ve decided to make a few changes to our weekday public affairs block. Beginning September 25th, we’ll no longer be carrying CPR News and will be exploring a variety of new options.

Trust in content is important to us. We sincerely hope these changes reflect Radio Boise’s ongoing aim to offer diverse programming that is open-minded and evolves with the changing information landscape.

And, as always, we appreciate hearing from you. Feel free to send thoughts, comments and questions to info@radioboise.org. Thanks for listening.

As we explore high-quality syndicated public affairs productions to add to our lineup, our weekly public affairs programming schedule may continue to see some changes.

However, for now, you can expect to hear the following shows:

Mondays

3:00 – 4:00 pm: Background Briefing (syndicated)

4:00 – 5:00 pm: Alternative Radio (syndicated)

Tuesdays

3:00 – 3:30 pm: Building a Greener Idaho

3:30 – 4:00 pm: The Dr. Jim Show

4:00 – 4:30 pm: Conversations on Healthcare (syndicated)

4:30 – 5:00 pm: Wings (syndicated)

Wednesdays

3:00 – 4:00 pm: Elemental Idaho

4:00 to 4:30 With Good Reason (tentative)

4:30 – 5:00 Planetary Radio

Thursdays

3:00 – 4:00 pm: Idaho Speakeasy

4:00 – 4:30 tbd

4:30 – 5:00 Between the Lines (tentative)

Fridays

2:00 – 2:30 pm: Talk Dirt to Me

2:30 -3:00 Sea Change Radio (tentative)

3:00 – 3:30 Making Contact (tentative)

3:30 – 4:00 Counterspin

Bear in mind much of this is a tentative schedule as we’re trying things out. We also have a few new local programs in development, along with our quarterly (at least) Voices Project broadcast, which will run one half hour to one hour.
