October KRBX board meeting welcomes new members
The KRBX Board of Directors rescheduled its regular October board meeting to this week because of Radiothon. The board will meet on Thursday, October 31, at 11:30 in the board room on the second floor of the Alaska Building, 1020 W. This month, the board welcomes two new members. Kathe Alters and Liz Woodruff will join the Board of Directors, bringing years of radio, community organizing and fundraising experience to the table. In addition, five long-time members of the board are up for re-appointments this month.
The board will also be discussing the recent Radiothon fund drive, a new fundraising initiative to attract higher donors, hear a report from Station Manager Jeff Abrams, and plan an upcoming board retreat and budget workshop.
Public comment is always welcome, toward the end of the meeting, before 1 p.m.
