Radio Boise is seeking an energetic, committed, community-minded salesperson to join our great staff as Underwriting Coordinator. You’ll be a public face for Radio Boise, providing leadership for station income related to small business support, including underwriting sales, cultivation of strategic relationships and other development work that engages our area’s small business community.

This is a commission-based staff position; Immediate supervisor – Station Manager.

Major activities associated with this role at the station include: engaging local and regional businesses to solicit on-air cash underwriting, partnerships, and/or in-kind trade opportunities; write copy and schedule on-air underwriting and public service announcements.

Skills that will make you a highly-qualified candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience with sales, preferably with broadcast media
  • Excellent organizational skills: must be able to coordinate, promote and track many projects/deadlines simultaneously, keep thorough records
  • Clear in-person communication and via telephone, print and electronic media
  • A strong commitment to improve Radio Boise’s financial well being as well as its image and visibility
  • Proficient use of standard office software with the ability to learn broadcast traffic software
  • Community organizing experience is beneficial
