Bucky Buckaw’s Backyard Chicken Broadcast premiered on the Sagebrush Variety Show in 2005 on Radio Boise and was brought to life in part by a grant from the Green Institute. Bucky Buckaw gives advice on raising backyard chickens, as just one example of how a locally based economy can work.

I’m thrilled to hear from you Selena. I, too, moved from Idaho to New York (in my case, I’m in Queens, NYC). My episodes are free for download to community rqadio stations from the wwww.radio4all.net site. I would absolute love to be aired in Buffalo and I’d love to collaboate on an episdoe about chickening in Buffalo. I’ll send you a private email with more information.
Regards,
Robert (aka Bucky)
I used to live in Idaho where I was involved in comm. radio and I loved to hear your show. Now I live in New York. We are trying to get Radio Free Buffalo back on the air. I think that your show would be well recieved here, as my Radio Free friends and I are also busy building community gardens/orchards etc. in the run-down city. Could we air your show? What would you need from us to make that happen?
Peace,
and thank you!
