Programming Updates – August 2020

⏰ As Radio Boise continually evolves, our show schedule gains some incredible additions every now and again. Here’s what’s new effective Wednesday, August 19, 2020:

*Expanded timeslot! Leta Harris Neustaedter’s The Lovely Afro is growing to one full hour and will now air every week. An arts variety show that debuted last month, The Lovely Afro focuses on celebrating and elevating Idaho’s BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) voices through interviews, music, poetry and more.
Wednesdays, 3 – 4 PM

*New show! A Geek Goddess presentation, Soundtrack Serenade cinematically celebrates songs from the movies – themed around a featured director or film genre each week.
Late Sundays / early Mondays, 1 – 3 AM

*New show! Stay up even later for an hour of the best in avant Classical, Jazz and out-there soundscapes with Esteban Anastasio on Beyond Our Control.
Late, late Sundays / early Mondays, 3 – 4 AM

*New name! Finally, “Live Sounds” is going underground for a re-branding and will now be known as From the Basement. Nothing’s different but the moniker; expect even more passionate, live performances and interviews from local and national musicians/bands every Friday – live from… wherever they’re at.
Fridays, 4 – 5 PM
