Well-accomplished as a recording artist and performer, Boise’s Madisun Proof expresses a Conscious Hip-Hop style with hints of Soul and Jazz. Their influences include Atmosphere, Amy Winehouse, Reverie, Chaka Khan and the most educated, Ms. Lauryn Hill.

Active in the local music scene, Madisun has shared stages with influential acts on stages big and small, leading to truly understanding the relationship between an artist and community.

Madisun explored the inner workings of identity and emotion on 2019 debut album ‘Transparent’, a reflective cry for understanding in a fast-paced world that has no time for it. Since, Madisun has shifted the theme to co-creation with new group THEM. (alongside Lyricallashea and Natalie Grace, supported by Anté DJing).

About musician Chase “BVTS” South:
Chase South, otherwise known as BVTZ (‘Bats’), is an Idaho Hip-Hop artist and poet. Born in Idaho Falls and currently in Boise, his debut EP ‘Laminar Flow’ was released in early 2019. South is also half of experimental Hip-Hop duo 2020 Sonar with Zac Jacobson (aka Z2020). Moving forward, he hopes to become a more active member of the local scene and strives to encourage positivity within his lyrical messages.
