Meet Caroline!

Headshot of Radio Boise Development Director, Caroline Stivers

We’re excited to introduce Radio Boise’s new Development Director – Caroline Stivers.

Caroline comes to Radio Boise with eight years of experience in arts and nonprofit administration. As Executive Director of the Salmon Arts Council from 2013 to 2015, Caroline oversaw the promotion of arts and culture for the residents of rural Lemhi County through the presentation of touring performing artists, community workshops, artist professional development, and arts education in the schools. Prior to that, Caroline managed operations for educational support programs for first-generation students at the University of New Orleans for six years.

Aside from her administration experience, Caroline has worked in the museum sector in the curatorial and education departments of the Yale University Art Gallery, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and the San Antonio Museum of Art. Caroline earned her Masters in Arts Administration from the University of New Orleans and her B.A. in Classics and Art History from Wesleyan University.

Caroline and her Boise-native husband, Michael, have two young children, Zora (3) and Roscoe (7 months), and one old dog, Bananas. In her spare time, Caroline enjoys making overly complicated crafts with her children, exploring the vast Idaho back country and the equally vast cultural scenes in its metropolitan areas, and serving on the Board of Directors of Surel’s Place.
