Radio Boise – KRBX 89.9 FM – invites artists of all skill levels to enter a T-shirt design contest emphasizing themes of localism, independence and Radio Boise’s focus on community service and musical diversity.
Five designs will be chosen for the public to vote on at sponsor locations that will rotate each week during the month of August. The artist of the winning entry will receive prizes from local businesses and the satisfaction of seeing their design appear on hundreds of fellow community radio supporters across the Treasure Valley! There is no cost to enter.
The deadline for entries is July 27, 2011 at 12:00 pm. Submissions will only be considered if they are on time. Artists interested in participating in the contest should download the artist release (link to file) and submit designs and signed artist release to marketing@radioboise.org.

CONTEST RULES
Please read the following rules carefully. All artists must sign and submit the 2011 T-Shirt Design Contest Rules & Release Form with their T-shirt design to Radio Boise, KRBX 89.9 FM by emailing marketing@radioboise.org.
1. T-shirt designs and artwork must be created exclusively and originally by submitting artist.
2. All T-shirt design submissions will become the property of Radio Boise, KRBX 89.9 FM.
3. The winning T-shirt design will be picked by public voting at four different sponsor locations and online at www.radioboise.org.
4. The winning artist will receive prizes from local businesses, one t-shirt and acknowledgement on Radio Boise’s website, Facebook and twitter pages.
5. T-shirt designs must be submitted (with artist release) to Radio Boise, via email, to marketing@radioboise.org by 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2011.
6. Radio Boise reserves the right to request or make minor revisions to a T-shirt design for reconsideration. Revisions may also be made to adapt the T-shirt design for additional purposes including but not limited to use on other clothing or retail items, web, print or video production.
7. Radio Boise may utilize any and all T-shirt design submissions for other promotional materials (i.e. clothing, retail items or print pieces) at any time in the future.

9. T-Shirt design specifications:
– MUST contain the words, “Radio Boise”, “KRBX”, “89.9 FM” (in no particular order) and MAY contain the phrase “Community Radio for Boise and Beyond”.
– Must be submitted in pdf format (CMYK, 2100 x 2700 px, 300 dpi; please make sure to “create outlines” for all text or include the font with your submission).
– Designs must print on the front of the T-shirt only
– Maximum of 6 colors
