Submit A Proposal: Public Affairs Show

So you want to host a community radio show?

The best way to begin is to attend a New Volunteer Meet-Up on a First Thursday and get engaged as a regular volunteer.

Then, if you have a show idea you think is underrepresented or might enhance our schedule, submit your program idea with the proposal form below.

Although our schedule is nearly full, we always welcome new ideas and program proposals. But know that priority is given to established Radio Boise volunteers when regularly reviewing submissions.

Even if we don’t have immediate openings, we try to stay in touch and keep you in mind when opportunities do arise.

Click for our programming calendar and see the show slots we do have a need for.

If you have a music show idea, submit your ideas here.

A little about KRBX, Radio Boise.

The primary goal of community radio is to serve underrepresented communities in the Treasure Valley by providing programming the community can hear nowhere else on the radio. We strive for this variety in our programming by maintaining an open-door policy not only to new programming ideas but to community members at large.

Radio Boise also serves as a community bulletin board for issues-oriented information and acts as a performance platform for the creative skills of local musicians, artists and youth.

To submit a Public Affairs Program proposal, use the form below.

If you have questions, email programming [at] radioboise.org.

We look forward to reviewing your proposal.
