Official Rules

    1. 1. Radio Boise is offering a 2016 Fiat 500e electric car as the prize in a raffle being conducted consistent with Idaho law and regulation for non-profit fundraising gaming.
    1. 2. Prize will not be awarded as cash.
    1. 3. Winner accepts the car in AS-IS condition, no warranty on the car, its mechanical functions or repairs are implied or expressed.
    1. 4. All raffle proceeds support operation of KRBX Radio Boise, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization.
    1. 5. Under Idaho law, raffle ticket purchases are not tax exempt.
    1. 6. Raffle tickets may be purchased from Radio Boise representatives at community events and at KRBX offices. Raffle tickets can also be purchased at the Record Exchange through December 5, 2019. Times and locations for ticket purchases will be published on the Radio Boise website and on the station’s social media pages. Ticket packages can be purchased for $20 (one chance), $50 (three chances), $100 (seven chances) and $500 (forty chances).
    1. 7. No more than 5,000 tickets will be sold. Consistent with Idaho law, prize drawing will be held regardless of the number of tickets sold.
    1. 8. Only those 21 years and older may purchase tickets.
    1. 9. Employees of Radio Boise and their immediate households are not eligible to participate in the raffle.
    1. 10. When purchasing a raffle ticket, individuals are required to provide current contact information, telephone number and e-mail address, and must attest to their eligibility as 21 years and older. This information is provided to Radio Boise on a ticket stub it will retain for the drawing.
    1. 11. Tickets may be transferred by the purchaser to individuals 21 years and older. If the purchaser transfers the ticket to another individual after filling in the ticket log and stub with the purchaser’s contact information, the original purchaser will be the primary contact if their ticket stub is drawn. The original purchaser will identify the current holder of the winning ticket.
    1. 12. The prize winner is solely and wholly responsible for State and Federal income tax, sales tax, registration, fees and insurance. Verification of tax payment is required before transfer of the grand prize.
    1. 13. The official prize drawing will be held at Radio Boise’s Practice New Year’s Eve Party, at 10:00 PM MST on Friday, December 6, 2019. The drawing will be live broadcast on Facebook and announced on KRBX. The winner is not required to be present.
    1. 14. The winner will be contacted immediately after the prize drawing if they are not present. The winner has thirty (30) days to claim their prize. In the event the prize is not claimed or the winner does not accept the prize, another winner will be drawn.
    1. 15. By purchasing raffle tickets, winner of the grand prize agrees to his or her name and image being used on the air on KRBX, on the station web site and social media platforms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy a ticket online?

No. All tickets must be purchased in person due to Idaho charitable gaming laws. You can purchase tickets at Radio Boise (1020 Main Street, Suite 50, Boise, ID 83702), the Record Exchange (1105 West Idaho Street, Boise, ID 83702) or at Radio Boise events during the duration of the raffle. If you would like to arrange delivery of tickets and pay for them in person with a representative from Radio Boise, e-mail raffle@radioboise.org.

Do I have to be an Idaho resident to be eligible?

No. You can be a resident of another state (or country) – you just need to purchase your ticket in person.

I volunteer for Radio Boise – am I eligible to win?

Yes! Everyone, aged 21 and above – and anyone is eligible – except paid Radio Boise staff and their households.

Do I have to be present to win?

No. But we will call you immediately following the drawing, which will be late at night from a super-fun, loud party. You’ve been warned.

How long is the raffle going on?

The raffle is running June 6, 2019 – December 6, 2019. Radio Boise is raffling 5,000 tickets and will stop when those 5,000 are sold. Even if the tickets sell out before December 6th, the drawing will take place at the annual Practice New Year’s Eve Party on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 10:00 PM MST.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Radio Boise will gladly accept cash, check and all credit cards.

Can someone else buy a ticket in my name?

Yes! Raffle tickets make a great birthday present or gift for your customers/clients.
